It's a super powerful clean boost styled after the Zvex Super Hard on. At unity gain (all the way down) it adds a little zing to the tone. From there, it can go from light overdrive to completely fucking up the input of your amp, preamp or dirt pedals to the next level. The Boner Pill doesn't add any distortion of it's own, instead it simply boosts the signal so much (around 35dB) that it will drive and distort anything that it feeds into.
